Navigatio Capital - Founder President &  Associates 

Founder & President - Markus Lehmann  
Markus is dedicated to the deployment of capital in the New Energy and Agribusiness Sector. Navigatio partners with strategic global investment and infrastructure funds engaging the principles of responsible investment (PRI) to achieve UN’s sustainable development goals (SDG). Navigatio operates in: NAFTA, LATAM, India, Europe. Markus commenced Navigatio after his position as Strategic Advisor to IFU (Danish Sovereign Wealth Fund for Emerging Markets) where he originated, structured and concluded investment and credit lines in the hundreds of millions of dollars. At present Navigatio is focused on project development and capital deployment in the North & South America New Energy sector, embracing the spectrum of asset development; utility scale solar, on & off shore wind, renewable hydrogen, biofuel production/distribution and geothermal.
Via Navigatio, Mr. Lehmann has independently sourced over $US 1 Billion in equity financing for new energy asset development including $700 million for Canada’s largest renewable energy production facility. Currently Navigatio represents over $10 billion in new energy project pipeline development in North and South America. Navigatio has been contracted by Wheatland County to represent them as the Business Development Specialist - Hydrogen Economy. Navigatio has also been engaged by Wheatland County in Alberta, Canada to create, produce and implement the New Energy strategy for the Municipality. With offices in Brazil, Canada and Denmark, Navigatio deploys market know-how across the globe.

Born in Calgary, Canada & raised on a cattle, grain farm in Wheatland County, Mr. Lehmann travelled extensively in his professional youth, eventually arriving in the Brazilian Amazon where he undertook the construction (by hand), operation & ownership of Brazil’s largest wooden sailing vessel - the Tall Ship Tocorimé (120ft LOA, 160 tonne). The vessel became an educational platform establishing partnerships with; Brazilian Ministry of Culture, British Council, National Geographic, Darwin Foundation & NASA. The Tocorimé (with Markus as Captain) was featured in the reality show The Amazing Race Season II premiere. (see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tocorimé_Pamatojari).

Markus continues advancing philanthropic educational outreach as Board Member of; IASEA (Institute for Emotional Intelligence) & Project Play Africa. He was a Board Member for the Solar Alberta Energy Society, and currently is a Board Director on the Strathmore & Wheatland Chamber of Commerce.

Markus speaks 4 languages, English, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish and is a dual Danish & Canadian national. Mr. Lehmann is kept busy and entertained with his two children and his homestead acreage in Wheatland County.
