Mr. Markus Lehmann is President; Navigatio Capital; and has worked as an Advisor to IFU (Investment Fund for Developing Countries). His focus is the employment of capital via the principles of responsible investment (PRI) & generating returns based on UN sustainable development goals (SDG). His work scope embraces trade, investment & business development (Agri-business & New Energy segments) in Canada (NAFTA), Danmark (Europe), Brazil (Latam) & India.

 

Born in Calgary, AB, Canada & raised on a cattle, grain farm near Strathmore, AB, Mr. Lehmann travelled in his professional youth extensively and eventually to the Brazilian Amazon where he was responsible for the construction (by hand), operation & ownership of Brazil’s largest wooden sailing vessel - the Tall Ship Tocorimé, The vessel was utilized as an educational platform throughout the entire Brazilian coastline with partnerships including; Brazilian Ministry of Culture, British Council, national Geographic, Darwin Foundation & NASA. The Tocorimé (with Markus as it’s Captain) was featured in the reality show The Amazing Race Season II premeire. He continues advancing philanthropic educational outreach as Board Member of; IASEA (Institute for Emotional Intelligence) & Project Play Africa. Mr. Lehmann has two children living in Strathmore, AB, Canada.
